KofC on line

Getting involved doesn’t need to take a lot of your time.

Here are some of the ways you can make a difference without a big time commitment:

  • Spend a half hour after mass staffing a table or handing out information for one of our service projects.  (We collected over $19,000 for VBVM Parrish during our Easter Basket fundraiser.)
  • Sign up to spend a few hours collecting change to support Special Olympics. (The Father Doyle Council has collected more funds for people with disabilities than any other council in the state of Pennsylvania for several years in a row!)
  • For about an hour after 4:30 mass, help set up for a pancake breakfast.
  • Volunteer a few times a month to collect and deliver day-old baked goods to a local food pantry or homeless shelter.  (Over 8,000 pounds of food that would have gone to waste was delivered by our council this year.)
  • Attend a work day helping to update and maintain the facilities at Guiding Star Ministries, a home for unwed mothers.
  • Attend council or auxiliary meetings.

Please visit our Photo Gallery for pictures of our Knights in action at our various events and activities.  (Send us your pictures!  Knights and Ladies – If you have pictures to share from your events or meetings, please email Tom Ahart at tom.ahart@gmail.com so we can post them. )

Why become a Knight?

Members from St. Rose and Corpus Christi attended a service day at Guiding Star Ministries in Philadelphia, which supports unwed mothers.

Our Mission
Father John E. Doyle Council of the Knights of Columbus is a Roman Catholic fraternal organization that supports the Catholic Church, our Community, and our Nation with our time, our fundraising, and our prayers. We are particularly supportive of the vocation of the Priesthood, the parishes of St. Rose of Lima and Corpus Christi, the unborn child, Catholic youth and schools, and the charitable organizations in our local community.

About Us
The Father John E. Doyle Council was founded in 1988 by parishioners from St. Rose of Lima in North Wales and Corpus Christi in Lansdale/Upper Gwynedd Pennsylvania.

The Father John E. Doyle Council still serves both parishes faithfully. Our council raises and donates about $8000 for charitable causes, and more than 2,000 hours of service to the community and church.

If you are a Catholic gentleman of 18 years and in communion with the Holy See, we’d like you to join us for a most rewarding experience! No experience necessary! We only ask you donate as much of your time that you are comfortable donating (and of course, a small amount of annual dues). Please contact the Grand Knight if you are interested in joining us!
