Did you know that many children and adults go without a coat each winter? Many children
cannot afford this vital necessity.
A warm coat means a child can attend school, play and do other things that kids do to be kids.
The Knights of Columbus, Fr. John E. Doyle Council is once again sponsoring a Coats for Kids
drive to benefit the children of our sister parish, Visitation BVM in the Kensington section of
Philadelphia and Catholic Services in Philadelphia.
We encourage you to donate new or lightly used winter clothing on the weekends of November
1/2 and 8/9. In lieu of clothing, cash or check donations will be accepted with proceeds being
used to buy new coats directly through the Coats for Kids program. Make checks to: Knights of
