Eucharistic Enrichment Weekend
On the weekend of March 29th , the Knights of Columbus assisted in hosting Blessed Carlo Acutis’
International Exhibition of the Eucharistic Miracles of the World. This presentation, created by
Blessed Carlo Acutis, was displayed in our Social Hall.
Blessed Carlo Acutis was a remarkable young Italian boy. At a very early age he developed a great
love for Our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament. As he grew to adolescence, he was very much
fascinated by computer technology and developed a remarkable proficiency in that field, well
beyond his age. Merging his love for the Blessed Sacrament with his technological abilities, when he
was only 12, he began to create a website cataloging all the Extraordinary Eucharistic Miracles that
have occurred throughout the world. Sadly, in October of 2006, young Carlo was diagnosed with
acute promyelocytic leukemia, and died eleven days later. He was only 15 years old.
Blessed Carlo Acutis was beatified by Pope Francis and will be canonized during the Jubilee of
Teenagers on April 27, 2025. His legacy is preserved through the exposition of his work which we
have this opportunity to witness. There will also be on display a first-class relic of Blessed Carlo
Acutis.
